Health kick breakfast for your chickens

Fresh herbs added to the girls breakfast 

We feed our girlies this health kick power mix once to twice weekly. It boosts their health, helps to prevent illness, keeps them pest-free, and they love it!

Eggs boiled & crushed in shells- great source of protein & calcium (crush well, so your chickens won’t recognise they are their eggs)

Coconut oil- anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, aids digestion

Garlic- boosts their immune system, respiratory health, and increases appetite

Ginger- reduces stress, increases appetite & circulation (great in winter)

Lemon balm- relieves stress, promotes digestion & is an antibacterial

Parsley- strengthens their immune systems & aids bone health

Rosemary- supports respiratory health

Oregano- strengthens their immune systems & prevents common illnesses

Comfrey- will give your chickens a boost of Vitamin B12 and A

Tumeric- anti-inflammatory, boosts immune system & reduces diseases

Cayenne pepper- increases blood flow & circulation (good for winter)

Sesame seeds- good fats, high in protein & added Omega 3

Pumpkin seeds- great for overall health, controversial dewormer

Breakfast mashed up, mixed in & sprinkled with turmeric and cayenne pepper
